~ Ahh, yesterday I met one of my dear old friends. This elven wizard likes to 

stay in the shadows, but his skills are nonetheless great. Always with some 

new adventure in mind, he won't rest until he knows all there is to learn about 

magic here in the Realms. His latest discovery was interresting though, 

somehow he claims to have uncovered the secret ritual in creating a powerful 

shield. He didn't stay here long though, said he was close to find out out how 

to create an enchantment to prevent weapon corrosion. Exactly where he went 

I do not know. ~
