You can get waterbreathing by doing the following:

  1. Go to Kyoda
  2. Go to ford
  3. enter ford, and go upriver until at the top
  4. enter waterfall
  5. then search rocks util you get up
  6. climb shelf

You can now bribe the dragon, e.g. bribe dragon with 100 platinum coins

I believe it is one minute pr platinum.
