Story 170 The Luck of the Bard Told By Bishop

~~~~~~~~ be heard in the distance, a sound not unfamiliar to the Bard. ~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~ Quickening her pace, she strode around the frozen objects, ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~ when she slipped and fell, her backpack ripping open and ~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~ spewing the four scrolls over the snow. The screeching was ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~ closer now. In a panic, she abandoned the backpack and ~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~ scrolls, rushing through the gate. Looking back, she shrugged ~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ at her loss, perhaps it was meant to be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
